Due to the perceivable scarcity of conversation partners, it is best to continue the meetings in the fall, and skip the remaining part of the summer.

Sometimes I'm quite lazy to write a new post each week about every new meeting in time, thus some members are unable to make comments about events like concerts and alike.

In order to reduce the effects of my reprehensible idleness, I created a google group for the club. This will function as a mailing list and everyone will be able to let the others know just about everything that may have our interest.

The meeting for today is hereby also announced ofr 6 PM at Lord Tennyson's, although exceptionally at least four of the regular members - including my humble self - will be missing today for various reasons. Therefore it is possible that there won't be anyone there. :P

it seems that the Polyglot Club rescheduled its meetings due to some difficulties with arranging the place. The Thursday Polyglot-meetings will be held on Wednesday instead, at least in the near future, see here.

Therefore it is possible - and advisable :) - to have meetings each week in the Lord Tennyson's again. Thus I hereby announce our next gathering to be on 8th of April at 7 PM.

I will try to seduce some Polyglot members over here. :)

Also, we have an evening program proposal by KoBa(k) in the Take5, after the usual 9 PM closing time, for those who are eager fan of jazz.

April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day is a holiday celebrated in various countries on April 1. The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, enemies, and neighbors, or sending them on a fool's errand, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible.

We will celebrate this day today at 7 PM in the Lord Tennyson's Teahouse. :)

We were quite few of us two weeks ago, so we hope that there will be a huge audience this time.


Something else:

Some earlier comments referred to the Merlin theatre as one that regularly plays plays in english.

I hereby take the courage to recommend three english plays. I watched two of them earlier, see the links below:

The third one is really funny twisted romance. The actors are all british, with quite understandable and enjoyable accent.
And, of course, I don't have any financial interest in advertising them. I do it for the well-being of the people. :)
