our next club meeting will be held on 15th of July, Thursday, at the Lord Tennyson's Teahouse, at 6 PM. The address is still the same: Budapest, V. ker., Vámház krt. 10.

Hi,
I have just found this site. Could anyone tell me what this club is all about? What people can be met there what's happening and so on.
I am actually looking for opportunity to practice my english in an informal environment...

Hi Noszty,
you're very welcomed in our club! We have only one but very strict rule: you have to speak English during the meetings. ;)
The number and age of people varies in a wide range from time to time - as the level of English speaking skills too. ;) Usually there are 5 to 10 persons, mainly university students and young workers. We all have different interests too, so there's always something to speak about. :D
Time and location are announced here on the web site; the meeting is usually held on Thursdays 6 to 8 PM. As it takes place in a tea house, you have to order a drink to stay; feel free to ask the cashier about the group, she'll guide you to us for sure. :)
